If you are a Hall User and have some spare time and would like to represent hall users on the committee contact the Chair for more information.
Committee meetings are 7-9pm on a Wednesday (generally) and there are approximately 6 a year. There are other opportunities to help out if you are available.

| As an unicorporated charity, we are unable to hold in our name any property. As such the Charity Commission requires the charity to appoint a custodian trustee to hold the title on the charities behalf. Cusodian trustees are normally companies or businesses where the community elect or have a say in the appointment of the people involved in that business like a Parish Council. The property is owned by the charity. The custodian trustee does not take part in the day-to-day management or operation of the charity. |
AGM
The governance document for the charity requires us to hold an annual general meeting where our finances are presented for approval.
As the financial year end is June 30th, we hold our AGM in September to allow us time to prepare our returns, have them audited and sent out to our trustees.
Next AGM is Wednesday 22nd September 2027 at 7pm Hempton Memorial Hall.
The AGM will close by 7:30. Elections will be held to appoint officers for 2026/2027 in the committee meeting that immediately follows the AGM .
Hall users, group organises, members of the community are all welcome.
